The multidisciplinary project GROUND ZERO 51.04536/3.71609 takes shape in a three-month residency at KIOSK Ghent with visual artist Leen Van Tichelen, performer Fanny Vandesande and writer Jonas Bruyneel. Within this project, both personal artistic boundaries and those of the different disciplines are questioned and reshaped into a dynamic, site-specific methodology.
You can experience the project for the first time at Bijloke Wonderland, where it reveals itself as a work in constant transformation — just like the landscape in which it is situated.
GROUND ZERO refers to the starting point of a shared exploration between image, word, movement, and sound, and to the relationships that emerge with the surrounding environment. The coordinates point to the exact location of its performance.
