About

I'm a violist - my first love - but I also like to play around with keys, bass guitar, violin, tenor guitar, and electronics and effect pedals. At the moment, I'm based in Brussels but you can find me moving around pretty much everywhere around the country.

I studied at Ghent University and the School of Arts Ghent, and today I’m active in a wide range of bands and projects, including MOMOYO, Tourist LeMC, Floris Francis Arthur, Foutloos trio, Nemø ensemble, Vincent Coomans, Loeke & Esther, Chimaera, Room13Orchestra, ...  I love both studio work as well as playing live on stage and I also create and write my own music under the name BRICOLAAG.

Musically, I’m an omnivore: I move freely between indie, pop, jazz, and contemporary music, blending grooves, song structures, and the joy of playing together. Anyhow, I don't like to think too much in labels. I think of music as a colourful spectrum and I like to move through it as freely as I can!
